"ACT I" teaches vocal projection, memorizing lines, emotional acting, improvisational acting, expressive imagination and exploration, develops and sharpen focus and increases children's ability to multi-task, take direction and work with others. This program offers the lasting benefits by giving your child skills he or she will need to be successful. In today's worlds, it is often the person who is best able to express his or her ideas and present a confident self-image that is most successful. These are exactly the types of skills that Act I will bring to your child. Our classes are designed to help the shy child develop the self-confidence and verbal communication skills he/she needs to be a happy, outgoing, articulate individual. We create a safe, supportive environment in which soft-spoken children have the opportunity to practice these skills without the fear of being ridiculed. We also anticipate having many children in our program who are naturally outspoken and dramatic and Act I gives them an outlet for their natural creative ability too! Our purpose is to encourage self confidence and to invoke the creative spirit that exists in every child.
